Launch of Portal for Know India Programme

On 17 June 2017, External Affairs Minister of India inaugurated a portal for Know India Programme (KIP), Ministry's flagship initiative for engagement with young overseas Indians.

This year i.e. in 2017-18, Ministry of External Affairs of India is organising six Know India Programmes (KIP) inviting participation of 40 overseas Indians in each programme.

46th KIP 12 February – 8 March 2018 Madhya Pradesh

KIPs will be a 25-day programme.

2nd and 3rd generation Indian diaspora youth aged between 18 to 30 may apply. Preference will be given to those who have never visited India before. Applications can be submitted online by 13 December 2017, (Further information can be seen at www.kip.gov.in)

Approved participant will need to submit in advance:

  1. a medical fitness certificate;

  2. information on allergies, if any, to be provided

  3. medical insurance cover and

  4. they may bring their medical kit, if any, along.
